This online learning portal has been designed to facilitate the quick and easy adoption of HealthInfoNet’s services at your healthcare facility.
This page provides instructions and key information on how to get started. For each topic, select the plus sign (+) to learn more.
1. Click the SIGN UP link located in the upper-right hand corner of the page.
2. Complete all fields in the site’s REGISTER form.
3. Click the COMPLETE SIGN UP button when finished.
1. Click the LOGIN link located in the upper-right hand corner of the page.
2. Enter the username and password that you created when you completed your registration form (per the the “How to Sign Up” instructions).
Note: If you forget your account password, click the ? icon to the right of the password field in the LOGIN menu. After entering your username, the system will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
The Academy menu links to the following pages:
• ALL COURSES – Provides a list of the courses that are currently available to support your training needs.
• MY COURSES – Provides a list of the courses that you have started and/or completed.
• RESOURCES – Provides links to additional information, with a sub-menu item to frequently asked questions (FAQs).
• CONTACT US – Provides a form to submit questions and feedback regarding the HealthInfoNet Academy.
• HINFONET.ORG – Links to HealthInfoNet’s main website.
1. Log in to the HealthInfoNet Academy.
2. Select the wanted course from the ALL COURSES page.
3. On the course description page, click the START COURSE button located on the right-hand side of the page.
4. Follow the instructions to start the course units and mark them as complete.
Note: You can leave a course at any point. The system will keep track of your progress.
1. Log in to the HealthInfoNet Academy.
2. Click the MY COURSES link from the main menu.
3. Select the wanted course to continue.
4. On the course description page, click the CONTINUE COURSE button located on the right-hand side of the page.
When complete with all activities included in a course, click the FINISH COURSE button located on the right-hand side of the select course’s page.
Notes:
• If you have not completed all of the course units, you will be prompted to do so before being able to finish the course.
• If you have completed all of the course units, you will be asked to provide a review and rate the course.
You can receive one (1) CNE credit for attending and completing the “HealthInfoNet Clinical Portal Training” session.
To receive your credit upon completing the course:
1. Click the MARK THIS UNIT COMPLETE button located at the bottom of the page.
2. Click the FINISH COURSE button located at the bottom of the page.
